Our Story

About White Rocks Apiary

White Rocks Apiary is located on Sugar Hill Road which is on the eastern side of White Rocks Mountain in Wallingford, Vermont. Named after one of the area's most recognizable landmarks, the apiary reflects a close connection to the landscape, the seasons, and the bees that call it home.

White Rocks Apiary is built on a simple idea: healthy bees, healthy landscapes, and raw Vermont honey.

Our bees forage throughout the forests, mountainsides, wetlands, and wildflowers of Vermont's Green Mountain National Forest, producing honey that reflects the landscape and the changing seasons. Each harvest is shaped by the blooms, weather, and natural rhythm of the year. Because the blooms change throughout the season, no two harvests are exactly alike.

Beekeeping is one of the most rewarding ways we have found to spend time outdoors. Watching colonies grow, raising queens, harvesting honey, and caring for healthy bees make every season a little different from the last.

Every jar of White Rocks Apiary honey is harvested raw and unfiltered. While producing quality honey is an important part of what we do, caring for healthy colonies will always come first. Healthy bees are the foundation of everything we do.

Colin serves as Vice President of the Vermont Beekeepers Association, where he enjoys supporting and giving back to Vermont's beekeeping community.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about White Rocks Apiary. We hope you enjoy our honey as much as we enjoy caring for the bees that make it possible.
